Fans accuse Anthony Joshua of 'losing the plot' after intense face-off with Robert Helenius

Boxing fans think Anthony Joshua 'lost the plot' during his intense face-off with Robert Helenius as words were exchanged on stage.

Joshua meets Helenius at the O2 Arena on Saturday following the withdrawal of Dillian Whyte, who returned an adverse finding from a doping test.

The pair of heavyweights weighed in on Friday ahead of their main-event clash, with 'AJ' tipping the scales at 250lbs while the Finnish fighter weighed in at 249.4lbs.

After hitting the scales, Joshua and Helenius faced off against each other before their showdown on DAZN.

And they were involved in a fiery face-off, with the former world heavyweight champion asking his opponent if he had a problem with him.

They exchanged words as promoter Eddie Hearn watched on, with both boxers eventually separating before being interviewed.

One Twitter user questioned: "AJ has completely lost the plot hasn't he?"

A second wrote: "AJ is losing it."

A third tweeted: "AJ is all over the place."

A fourth added: What an absolute bully idiot Joshua is. It's a stare down face to face! Asking if he has a problem!!??"

Another said: "AJ looks worried."

This will be Joshua's second bout of the year, having returned to the win column following his back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk by beating Jermaine Franklin last April.

As for Helenius, he makes a swift return to the ring as he fought last weekend when he stopped Mika Mielonen in Finland.

Joshua or Helenius - who takes it? Let us know.
