AFL star proposes collaboration with Calvin Klein after suffering wardrobe malfunction on field

An AFL star suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction during a game over the weekend.

But instead of waking up on Monday morning with crippling head noise, the youngster has well and truly embraced it and proposed a collaboration with men's underwear giants Calvin Klein.

Well played sir, well played.

During the Western Bulldogs' loss to Port Adelaide, Cody Weightman was getting up from the turf after a tackle when he noticed a slight breeze around his crotch area.

Well, there was good reason for that, because it turns out his private parts were hanging out of his shorts.

His crown jewels were only on show for a split second before Weightman sprung into action and tucked the old fella away.

But despite that, eagle-eyed fans watching from home noticed and jumped onto social media to have their say.

One person joked: "Cody Weightman really giving it his all. Leaving it all out there."

While another tweeted: "Cody Weightman is the new package."

For some people, having your package accidentally on show for the world to see might be slightly embarrassing – but not for this 22-year-old.

Instead of brushing this cock-up under the carpet, Weightman faced it head on.

In the wake of his side's defeat, he clearly stumbled upon footage of his wardrobe malfunction and decided to hit up Clavin Klein for a collaboration via Instagram.

This move, in itself, resulted in fans singing his praises even more online.

Unsurprisingly, given their incredibly-short shorts, this isn't the first time an Australian sports star has bared all on the footy field.

A few AFL incident spring to mind, but one moment from NRL fullback James Tedesco is perhaps the most infamous.

During State of Origin, Tedesco was preparing to play-the-ball following a tackle from Queensland star Cameron Munster.

But in his desperate attempt to quickly get the ball rolling, Tedesco didn't realise that his shorts has been pulled down during the contact, leaving his bare butt cheeks staring right in Munster's face.
