Dillon Danis immediately backtracks on claims Logan Paul 'missed weight' with 'unhinged' Twitter rant

Dillon Danis has immediately backtracked on claims that Logan Paul 'missed weight' in an 'unhinged' rant on Twitter.

The morning before Danis' eagerly anticipated bout with Logan Paul, there were concerns over whether the fight would go ahead.

Taking to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Danis claimed that Paul had missed weight, sending fans into a frenzy.

We now know those accusations to be fake after Paul posted a video of himself weighing in at 194.3 lbs, over 5lbs short of the maximum.

Danis has subsequently claimed that although Paul didn't miss weight, he missed the 11am deadline, insisting that his opponent is being given "special treatment" in a peculiar rant on X.

"The commission's rules state that weigh-ins are between 10 and 11," he tweeted.

"If you miss the 11 o'clock deadline, you've missed weight. I weighed in at 10:15, but Logan still hasn't. The commission said that if he doesn't arrive by the 11am deadline, the fight is off.

He added: "He missed the weight, but then called misfits and changed the rules to give himself an extra hour.

"We should be on an even playing field, he shouldn't get special treatment. He’s already got more juice than Tropicana. He missed the weight, plain and simple. They’re trying to handicap me as much as possible."

As things stand, the fight will go ahead on Saturday evening on the same card as Tommy Fury's clash with Youtuber-turned-boxer KSI.

Danis and Paul have been locked in a war of words for months, with Danis regularly using his opponent's fiancee, Nina Agdal, to trash talk Paul.

Meanwhile, tensions reached boiling point during Thursday night's press conference, with Paul reportedly left bleeding after being struck by Danis as they exited the stage.
