KSI reveals how much his sparring partners were offered to knock him out ahead of Tommy Fury fight

KSI has revealed the amount of money that his sparring partners were offered to knock him out ahead of his fight with Tommy Fury.

The YouTube star suffered a unanimous decision loss to Fury at the AO Arena in Manchester last month, amid controversy surrounding the result.

There were claims made ahead of the fight that KSI's sparring partners had been offered a huge sum if they could successfully knock him out ahead of the much-anticipated bout.

Speaking on the IMPAULSIVE podcast hosted by his Prime business partner Logan Paul, the social media star revealed that the claims are indeed true - although he himself didn't know about the existence of the bonuses until close to the fight.

Furthermore, he confirmed that each sparring partner was offered an eye-watering £5,000 as part of the challenge.

He explained: "Yeah, a five grand bonus. Yeah man, it was pretty ridiculous!

"I heard it only near the end of the camp, so they didn't tell me, obviously.

"I was like, 'Jesus Christ, no wonder they're trying to knock my head off'."

KSI said that there was another challenge when it came to avoiding the dreaded knockout.

"No, I wasn't dropping anyone. It's just because of differences in weight.

"I was fighting big people, man. Like 200 (pounds) plus.

"You can daze people, but to knock people out... these guys are professionals. I was fighting professional boxers."

In his post-fight interview, KSI claimed he was 'robbed' by the judges and that he deserved to win the fight, after it was initially ruled as a majority decision win in favour of Fury.

The Sidemen member also vowed that he would appeal the result.

The result was later changed, but only because one judge had incorrectly counted a win for KSI when his card actually showed he had judged Fury as the winner.
