Liverpool 'in talks with PSG' over stunning Kylian Mbappe loan deal

Liverpool are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a stunning loan move for Kylian Mbappe, according to a new report.

PSG are willing to allow Mbappe to leave the club, with reports claiming the club believe he has already agreed to join Real Madrid from the 2024/25 season.

Al Hilal had a world-record bid of £259 million accepted by the French giants, but ESPN reported that the 24-year-old football icon rejected the chance to speak with representatives of the Saudi Pro League side.

The France international was not included in PSG's travelling squad for their pre-season tour, and speculation over his future has not subsided since the rejection of a move to Saudi Arabia.

Now, another stunning option has emerged.

Liverpool 'in talks over Mbappe move'

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are ready to offer Mbappe the prospect of a one-year loan move to Anfield, which would see the Reds pay a loan fee to PSG.

It is claimed that Jurgen Klopp's side are 'encouraged' by Mbappe's previous show of respect for the club, and the fact that his mother is a Liverpool supporter.

Such a move would be beneficial for PSG, who stand to lose the forward on a free transfer next summer if he does not depart by the end of the current window.

It is claimed that the deal would allow him to join Real Madrid in 2024, as well as adding cash to the PSG coffers.

Speaking on Sky Sports News on Monday, reporter Kaveh Solhekol claimed that seven clubs, including Al Hilal, were keen on signing the forward - with Liverpool not mentioned at that stage.

He explained: "They will listen to loan offers, but obviously they would prefer a large transfer fee.

"PSG believe interested clubs include Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Inter Milan and Barcelona.

"PSG are saying, 'We will listen to any offer'. There is a feeling that Real Madrid could now be tempted to make an offer."
