Logan Paul reveals how much Prime has made this year after they 'cracked the code'

Logan Paul has revealed the staggering numbers behind the unprecedented success of Prime as it continues to fly off the shelves.

Since its release last year, co-founders KSI and Logan Paul have done an amazing job of promoting the hydration drink.

And in a recent interview with Fox's Stuart Varney, YouTuber-turned-WWE superstar Paul opened up on Prime's "insane" sale figures in its second year.

The 28-year-old, who recently beat Dillon Danis in a six-round heavyweight boxing bout, says they've sold $1.2 billion (£980 million) worth of drinks.

In the clip below, Paul can be heard asking: "You know what we did this year? In internal revenue?"

Varney questions: "You gonna tell me?" before Paul breaks the news of how much Prime has made so far.

"I have to say I'm proud of it. I'm going to be arrogant for a second and say that's insane," he goes on.

"Like two YouTubers founded a hydration company and did $1.2 billion revenue in their second year? We're the fastest growing hydration beverage in history.

"I don't know how we got here, the marketing's great, the product's great, we have great distributors. Very blessed Varney."

Back in January, both Paul and KSI celebrated their ongoing success with Prime by travelling to Australia to further promote the brand.

Here, they appeared on the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O to speak about a number of subjects, including the amount of money their energy drink had made so far.

After being asked for the numbers behind PRIME, he said in February: "Do you want the numbers? Alright. In year one, we cleared $110 million in retail sales."

After a brief pause, the YouTuber-turned-boxer confirmed the real amount. “Sorry, excuse me. $250 million in retail sales and $110 million gross internally."

Paul then confirmed they netted $45 million in January alone from sales of Prime – a staggering amount considering the problems they've had with distribution and stock in the UK.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands was clearly shocked by the figures before Paul explained the importance of marketing.

"We definitely cracked the code," he said. "We hit a few really important things that are a staple marketing ploy of this generation."
