Conor McGregor Leaks UFC Receipt, Reveals Monstrous PPV Buys For Dustin Poirier Fight

McGregor provided an ultra-rare insight into the business of the UFC as he posted a picture of his PPV bonus.

The Irishman returned to the famed Octagon following a hiatus from the sport in January 2021.

He headlined a huge card against Poirier on 'Fight Island' in Abu Dhabi, with the event garnering a massive 1.5 million PPV buys.

The 'Notorious' took to Twitter to upload an official document labelled 'PPV BUY SUMMARY FOR CONOR MCGREGOR'.

Per the image, UFC 257 collected 1,504,737 buys - 4,449 more than the projected buys of 1,500,238.

Of course, McGregor lost the rematch as he suffered a second round stoppage defeat.

But the receipt proves he is easily the biggest draw in the company.

McGregor also replied to a Twitter user saying he grossed the UFC over $100 million in one night.

He wrote: "A multitude of times, leading to a $4.2bn dollar acquisition of the company in 2016.

"Then I went a multitude more, perching the company up to an almost $11bn valuation, where it sits now in today's market. Incredible!"

McGregor hasn't fought since losing the trilogy bout to Poirier last July.

He broke his leg at the end of the first round, losing a doctor's stoppage at UFC 264.

The 33-year-old is on the mend as he plots a UFC comeback next year.

As for Poirier, he's set to challenge UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira at UFC 269.
