Piers Morgan vows to ‘destroy’ Louis Theroux after Anthony Joshua interview

Piers Morgan has vowed to destroy Louis Theroux after his interview with British boxer Anthony Joshua.
Famous documentarian Theroux sat down with former heavyweight boxing champion Joshua for his new series.
Joshua has not been in the ring since his win over Robert Helenius back in August. There have been rumours about a potential bout against American Deontay Wilder but nothing has materialised as of yet.
During the interview, the pair spoke about the boxer’s career and personal struggles.

Joshua then told Theroux that he could set up a boxing match for him, he said: “I could actually get you a fight, it will do well. You'd bring viewers to my broadcasting channel.”
Theroux then picked out Morgan as his potential opponent.
The 53-year-old replied: “Piers Morgan? That's a better match-up.
“Number one, he's very famous and I could actually take him.”
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Morgan was quick to respond to Theroux’s call-out.
The TalkTV presenter wrote on social media: “Have you lost your marbles, @louistheroux?
“I’d destroy you in 30 seconds, you puny wastrel.”
Theroux replied: “I don't think you've got the cardio fitness, Piers, TBF.
“You'd gas out and after that I'd just be playing music on your chin like a boxing Beethoven.”
Morgan made headlines on Thursday after Manchester United’s dramatic 4-3 defeat against Danish side FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.
On the back of the result, Arsenal fan Morgan took to social media to aim a dig towards United.
Posting a picture of the final score, Morgan wrote: “'I don't need Ronaldo'”.
This comes after United terminated Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract after the Portuguese’s explosive tell-all interview with Morgan.
During the interview, Ronaldo pulled no punches as he heavily criticised the club, former manager Ralf Rangnick, Erik ten Hag and his ex-teammates.
Ronaldo officially left United in November 2022 before signing for Saudi Professional League side Al Nassr in January 2023.
