Each Premier League club's most popular player based on shirt sales has been revealed and the results may surprise you.

Shirt sales are big business for clubs as they are the ideal marketing device.

But who is the most popular player to have on the back of your shirt for every club in England's top flight?

Well, a recent study conducted by The Athletic has revealed which player is the most requested at each club in the Premier League.

Last season's title winners Manchester City are becoming a global force, with Erling Haaland proving to be a popular figure.

Global digital sports platform Fanatics state the Norwegian goal-machine has sold the most shirts across Europe through their site this year ahead of Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham.

Manchester United are famous for selling shirts and it's Marcus Rashford - not Bruno Fernandes - leading the way at Old Trafford.

Bukayo Saka is the most popular player at Arsenal ahead of his club colleagues Martin Odegaard and summer signing Declan Rice.

Mohamed Salah, one of the faces of the Premier League, leads the way at Liverpool while Dominik Szoboszlai was the most requested name in the printing department in the early months of this season.

Like Man United, Chelsea's most popular player is local lad Reece James and Tottenham's most popular shirt is captain Son Heung-min.
