Travis Kelce's annual salary is lower than ticket sales for just one Taylor Swift concert

NFL star Travis Kelce’s annual salary is lower than the revenue from ticket sales for one Taylor Swift concert, according to a report.

Amid dating rumours, Swift was recently spotted watching Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Kelce take on the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

The ‘Shake It Off’ singer’s outing came shortly after Kelce revealed that he invited the singer to attend the game while appearing on The Pat McAfee Show podcast, teasing “he threw the ball in her court” after seeing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour in July.

Swift is among the most successful popstars in the world, and Business Insider have revealed that she has an astronomical bank balance.

Having crunched the numbers, the outlet has estimated she earns some $13million (£10.7million) from ticket sales for every night of her Eras tour.

To put that into perspective, Super Bowl winner Kelce will allegedly earn $12.3million (£10.14million) annually at the Chiefs.

And if that weren’t impressive enough, the publication added that Swift is likely to become a billionaire soon.

Her net worth is said to roughly be $740million (£609million), which is set to rise further as her tour is turned into a film - Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour - due to be released next month.

Moreover, Forbes estimated that the 33-year-old earned $92million (£75million) in 2022.

Of course, Kelce is also bringing home good money beyond his basic salary, having reportedly taken home a bonus of $157,000 (£128,000) for winning the Super Bowl.

Moreover, he has allegedly earned an extra $5million (£4.1million) courtesy of major brand deals with Nike, T-Mobile, McDonald's and Old Spice.
